Sondra Loring

Sondra Loring, Sadhana Founder & Director, fell in love with yoga while dancing professionally in New York City. She traveled to India several times to study yoga, and has studied with many that have since fallen from grace. After moving to the Hudson Valley, Sondra opened Sadhana Center for Yoga & Meditation in Hudson in 2003, and Satya Yoga Center in Rhinebeck in 2005.

Sondra is an interdisciplinary queer witch, bringing somatic practices, yoga, meditation, dance, science, farming, poetry and mantra into her aliveness. She stewards Sadhana Center for Yoga and Feathertail Farm in Hudson, NY.

kelly kamm

Always on the hunt for some deep connection with the invisible forces of magic and spirit, Kelly Kamm studied Eastern philosophy and politics in D.C., hiked the Appalachian Trail, traveled the world, and worked as a stylist in the NYC fashion and music business. When she found yoga she saw it as the confluence of everything she valued and longed for – creation and form, connection to the magical unknown, the fusing of the sacred and the everyday. She opened a studio in Goshen NY in 2006 and sold it a couple of years ago, and now teaches workshops, festivals and teacher-trainings all over the globe.

Anna lives in Hudson and is a dog mom, physical therapist, beer lover, rail to trail enthusiast, and wildflower fan. She has been practicing yoga at Sadhana for many years and recently received her 200 hour teaching certification with Sondra and Kelly at their Untraining/Retraining program. Her personal practice has helped her through many difficult times in her life, ultimately leading her towards the field of physical therapy. She is passionate about creating accessible yoga classes for all bodies, healing the body through movement, and fostering a space where all feel welcome and cared for.

sasha chermayeff

Sasha Chermayeff is an artist who lives with her family along the Catskill Creek. She received her teaching certification from Raghunath and Sondra Loring at Sadhana in 2009. Wishing to incorporate Chinese philosophical roots with Yogic study, Sasha received a second certification in Yin Yoga, a Taoist form, after studying with Biff Mithoefer at Omega Institute.

Dwayne Resnick completed his 200 RYT at Sadhana with Sondra and Raghunath in 2010, and his 500 RYT with Sondra and TJ Macchiaroli in 2016. He has taught yoga in the Hudson Valley and on retreat in Perugia, Italy, incorporating chanting, asana, pranayama, and meditation. Dwayne is grateful to Sondra, Sadhana, and the yoga students here in Hudson, NY for being given this opportunity to serve the community.

Mela Stevens, RYT-500, is also a national board-certified health coach (NBC-HWC) focused on holistic whole body and lifestyle wellness.  Her classes focus on self-reflection through equal parts inquiry, joy and self-compassion practice.  She is also an intuitive, energy alchemist and writer living in Rhinebeck.

A former professional dancer and choreographer, Kyralesa believes passionately in the ability of movement to heal bodies and minds. After teaching dance for many years, she received a comprehensive certification to teach Pilates in 2009, and holds additional certifications in Yoga, Tai Chi, and the GYROTONIC method. She has completed yoga teacher trainings with Sondra Loring and Kelly Kamm. An enthusiastic globetrotter, she currently lives in Hudson and finds it an exciting and vibrant place to call home.
